A withhold of adjudication is not a conviction under Florida law. Also under Florida law, once you have completed probation, you should be able to apply for a concealed weapons license. However, under Federal law there are restrictions in possessing a firearm and if you are in possession outside of Florida, you could be in trouble under Federal law. It is complicated and really can't be explained on this forum. As far as jobs, understand that it will appear on a background check, but it is not a conviction, so you can still say you have not been convicted.
