From what point is a plea binding?
If a person signs with a public defender that he will agree to a plea, but prior to going before a judge, changes his mind and wants his day before a jury; can he change his mind? Court convenes on Mon. AM. Help!!!This person didn't understand the ramifications re future appeal prohibition and wants to get out of the plea. Please someone with FL criminal experience, answer me. Re: From what point is a plea binding?
the plea is bindng once the judge accepts it. it doesnt sound like that happened yet. you can expect the judge to make you go to trial mon morning, so be dressed and ready.
