Can you be arrested for resisting arrest?

If you have witnesses that can put another witness at a scene and that witness says there were not there can you still call the witness to the stand so they will have to lie on the stand against the 3 witnesses that can place that person at the scene?

Does the police have to read you your rights and what happens or what can you do if they don't do so?

What is the process you have to go thru if you have one attorney under retainer and you don't feel like he is trying to protect your interests as a client how can you go about getting a public attorney in Miami? And even if you have signed agreement what are the rules about you getting your retainer back?

What are the grounds to prove an illegal arrest?

What type of informtion does a police officer have to put in his police report?

If they leave a lot of informtion out of their police report what does that mean for a certain case?

If you have yet to go to trial can you put forth information to the DA to try and get him to drop all charges prior to going to trial?

I will try to answer your questions. You can never put someone on the stand to lie. The police only read Miranda if you are in custody and they ask you questions about the crime. You can fire your lawyer. To qualify for a public defender you must show the court you are indigent. To get your retainer back you have to discuss it with your lawyer, there are no rules.The police have to put only probbale cause in the report.Sometimes the DA does drop a case if he learns he is wrong.
