Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
If a police officer says that a suspect gave him evidence and a confession before being arrested. How would a conviction of possession of canabis with intent to sell/deliver be abtained if the suspect denies handing over evidence and confessing to anything. The only thing that is fact is that drugs were found in suspects rent a car. Can a suspect incriminate him or herself when the only proof of confession is the officer testitmony.

How can a conviction be obtained? Because the officer says so. You can't be convicted on your statement alone, but in combination with the officer's testimony you can. The key is to get a good lawyer to properly cross examine and point out the faults in his testimony.
