Your eligibility to seal or expunge a criminal case depends on the nature of the charge and the final disposition. I cannot give you an answer regarding your eligibility until I know the specifics, but I can tell you that even if your case is sealed or expunged, your record will be available to law enforcement. Your right to deny the existence of your case, though otherwise available, does not apply when you are a candidate for employment with a criminal justice agency. Please feel free to contact me with further questions. I handle sealing and expungements statewide in Florida.
