Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
possession with intent to purchase
i was recently charged with possesion with intent to purchase and do not understand this. i was riding in a vehicle that was pulled over for supposedly running a stop sign and they found drugs in the vehicle. how can i be charged with this? there were 3 people in the vehicle and no one had actual possession of the drugs

you were probably charged with "intent to sell". regardless these are serious charges and you should hire a lawyer asap. pls call me over the weekend if i can help you with this.
