Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
possession of weed
A friend and I were pulled over for what the cop said speeding, he was gonna let us go w/ a warning, but said before you go is there any illeagle things in the vehicle. We of course siad no. He asked to search, we didnt say yes and he baggered us to search. He found 3 bags of crippy weed that was my friends and 1 bag of rag weed that was mine. He let us go w/out a ticket or notice to appear, but said that he wanted us to nark on people. We dont want to nark. He said if not that charges would be made against us. What should we do? And do we need a lawyer? We believe it was an illeagle search. And we werent speeding.

You have an interesting case.It may well be an illegal search. You don't have to narc but they will file charges. You both need lawyers. call my office if youd like an appt.
