Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
prerequisites to be indicted for murder
Please tell me if the body has to be found to be indicted for murder. (Large wager made on the answer!!!) Thanks, Jeff

no body needs to be found to indict for murder. wouldnt murderers just burn the bodies everytime to escape prosecution? hope you didnt lose too much on such an easy question! the state must have "corpus" to sustain a conviction which means "body" but not doesnt have to be literally a body (though it can be)and corpus can be established with a variety of direct and circumstantial evidence.
