Re: Pre-Trial Release

It depends on a lot of factors. Are you on pretrial release for a drug charge? Do you have any prior drug arrests and/or convictions? How long have you been on pretrial release? Howe extensive, if any, is your criminal record?

Without knowing a lot more information, it is impossible to tell you what is likely to happen for a dirty urine while on pretrial release. However, I can say with certainty that the Judge does have the ability to revoke your pretrial release and hold you in jail with no bond until the case is completed based on a violation of pretrial release.

I would certainly recommend discussing this with an experienced criminal defense attorney. Good luck.

Re: Pre-Trial Release

It depends on numerous factors not listed but the short answer is that the Judge can revoke your PTR and you could remain in jail until your case is resolved or a bond motion is filed.
