Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
Is preventing my ex husband the father of my son from taking my son during my weekend illegal? By blocking his car until the cops arrived or until he release my son. when the cops arrived he was told they would not be arresting anyone. How ever he has been telling everyone that he has had a lawyer draw up papers so that he can have me put in jail so that he can take my son and move out of town.

If the police refused to arrest anyone then it is very unlikely that your ex can have a lawyer draw up papers so you can be arrested. Criminal charges are filed by the State, not private people. Your ex may mean that he intends to file a Supplemental Petition to Modify in order to change the parenting plan and time sharing schedule, but he will have to either get you to agree or convince a judge.
