Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
Probation reduced or dismissed
at the age of, 19 I was arrested for auto theft, I was sentenced to 90 days in a boot camp and 20 yrs. probation. In 1993 I was arrested for armed robbery, 5yrs of my 20 yr. probation was revoked, I was sentenced to 20 yrs on that charge and was given 15 yrs in prison which I have served and 5 yrs probation.I was released in 9/03 and moved to Florida, I have paid restatution to Florida from 9/3 until 3/08. I was informed by my probation officer that I still have to remain on probation for another 5 yrs paying restitution to florida. I'm not the same person I was than. I'm married to a beautiful woman which whom I have been married to for the past 4 yrs. I'm in the constrution field and has been for the last 5 yrs. I've been blessed to have worked for some of the largest company's in the United States, I have always complied with Florida laws I reported on time and paid my fees on time, and has past every drug test for last 5 yrs. I don't smoke and I drink on the weekins only. I had a small brush with the law but it was a family matter and because I was on parole I was placed in jail by my probation officer for 10 days. What do I do to get the probation reduced or dismissed?
