Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
Probation transfer
I would like to find out information on transferring probation to another State. I am aware that in some states a family member has to have been a resident for a certain length of time. I would like to find out how I can get information. Thanks

Re: Probation transfer
Your best bet is to contact your probation officer and ask him/her how to get it transfered. In some cases it might involve hiring an attorney in order to enter a motion in front of the judge to get probation switched to another state. There is typically no requirement for a relative to reside in the state where you want to tranfer it to. Good Luck
