Probation
Can you be violated for a crime that occured before you were placed on probation.

Yes and no. The State may not be able to violate a Defendant who has not yet been placed on probation but the Judge can revoke an order of probation at any time during the "legal" term of probation if the state proves that a willful and substantial violation has occurred. See. Martin v. State 243 So.2d 189
