Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
Probation violation
My cousin was arrested on violation of probation he didn't commit another crime, it was a technical violation he missed 2 mths. of payment and passed all random drug tests the judge threw him 24 mths. is this a fair sentence

Yes, it does sound harsh. So I am willing to believe there is more than what you have told us. Either he has a very bad record, or he has violated previously, or he got a major break when he originally plead.
