Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
my on probation for 15 years for grand theft paying $300 monthly restitution probation now ending her balance of her restitution is not paid in full what will happen? willshe go to jail she is 66 and I am 68 broke on ss.

While there is a strong possibility they could "violate" her for not paying off all restitution, since it appears that she followed the payment schedule and is unable to pay the balance, then be convicted of the violation and sent to jail or prison is less likely. The reason is that one has to WILLFULLY violate their probation. It doesn't sound like that is the case here. One should contact their probation officer to be sure. After 15 years, hopefully a cordial relation has developed with the probation office so long as all other conditions are met.
