Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
Probation/Marinol
I take marinol (THC) for bi-polar disorder. My probation officer says he will violate me (go to jail) if I test positive for THC. My marinol use guarantees a positive test result. Can a judge order me to stop taking my medication for depression? Marinol is a controlled substance, but I do have a prescription and a note from my doctor saying it is necessary in the treatment of my bi-polar disorder.

What county is this? think you need to contest this I would file a motion to get the issue before the judge before you are violated and arrested.
