Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
Probation-notification to spouses
Personal and confidential to the addressed/noted person.
There is a court hearing, no jury, judgement is made, monetary restitution is judgement and probation. Should the spouse of the person who went to court been identified/notified in the court and notified of judgement and/or probation, seeing the restitution would come from both of their accounts? Also should the spouse have been included in any testimony in order to benefit the case? Is a probation officer allowed to withhold the whereabouts of a person from their spouse, without due process of a court judgement that they are counseling?
