Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
Pro-bono appeals
I am trying to find an atty/legal asst to research my son's criminal case to prepare a State Habeus Corpus. This would have to be done on a pro-bono basis. He has filed his 3.850 and subsequently, it was denied. BUT three attorneys have reviewed his appeal and all have voiced the opinion that the only reason for it's denial was due to the fact that it was prepared by another inmate. Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Pro-bono appeals
Sorry, I have no advise to give you. I know of no pro bono attorneys except "legal aid." They may be able to help.
