can you be prosecuted for posting a nude photo of a 17 year old on facebook?

A person could absolutely be prosecuted. Posting a nude photo of a 17-year-old could be a federal offense with a sentence of up to 30 years. If you know of someone who has done this, you should report it to police. If you have done this, you should speak to a lawyer immediately.
