I am currently on PTI for posession and I was looking up my records and I saw "demand for discovery" what does demand for discovery mean?

It sounds like your attorney filed a demand to get the discovery, generally speaking that is the police reports, but can also include other things too. You need to talk to your attorney and discuss the discovery with them. In the meantime, continue with your conditions of PTI.
