Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
I was on PTI for uttering a forgrd check I sucessfully completed and the case was dismissed . Am I eligible for a concealed weapon permit ? It asks has withold of adjudication or imposition of sentence suspended ? According to the definition of these terms PTI is neither but I am not a lawyer. Can anyone answer this ?

Since you completed PTI and the case was dismissed, then no sentence was imposed. Therefore, you can answer that you do not have a withhold and you were never convicted of anything, and never sentenced to anything.

You can answer "no." Also, you may want to consider having your record expunged.
