Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
Public question. I am on medical disability and am required to take a lot of medication throughout the day just to get through the day. Ordinarily, I only carry what I am going to need in a small, unmarked container that easily fits in my pocket. I have recently seen on the reality show COPS that people are required by law to carry their medications in their prescription bottles. If I carried that many prescription bottles around then I would be painting a great big target on my back for anyone with a drug problem. Are there any options in the state of Florida to avoid these rather unpleasant fates?

While there is a law that forbids carrying prescriptions without the prescription bottle, I don't believe it would apply in your case. Regardless once you show the actual prescription, cases like these that I have seen have been dismissed.
