Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

I was pulled over and police found a pill bottle which has my name on it and is my prescription. Also in the bottle were my fianc�'s pills. I claimed they were mine at the time(scared). She was not with me, the police let me go and said to provide the name and number of pharmacy where I got pills or they will put warrant out for my arrest for possession of a controlled substance. Should I tell them they are my fianc� pills or do I go get a prescription for the medication found??

You shouldn't be saying anything else to the police. Since there are many possible scenarios which may include your fiance helping you but also hurting you, then I strongly suggest you get an attorney to see what would be best. Your attorney will be able to explain the situation without implicating you.
