Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

I was pulled over for speeding in VA. I'm a FL resident, and was on vacation (single mother driving with an infant). Before the officer issued me my ticket he noticed brass knuckles in my car and charged me with concealing a weapon. He never took me into custody or "booked" me. I do not have any priors. He did, however, write the wrong statute for my speeding ticket. Will any of these factors have any bearing on my case? I'm in school, have lived on my own since I was 18, I'm a single mother, and I've never done anything wrong in my entire life. Obviously, I'm really upset and haven't been able to sleep. Can someone help?

Writing the wrong statute number is a defense, but can be corrected by the officer. I am curious as to how you had a concealed weapon when the brass knuckles were plainly visible to the officer? You need to contact a VA. attorney.
