Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
purchasing firearms
i was arrested for felony possession of marijuana a few years ago, after getting an attourney i took a deal of judifacation withheld, july 09 will be 3 years after all conditions where met, can i legaly buy firearms then (being three years later) or do i have to wait 8 years, i looked on the fla state website and the info is confusing to me, thanks for all you're help

Since adjudication was withheld, you are not a "convicted felon," and, assuming your probation or other supervision is complete, you may purchase a firearm.
