Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
Why don't they put the defendant on the stand? The Anthony case - they should make her answer all the questions. I really don't understand this, she is the one on trial here.

Even a Defendant has the right to not take the stand to testify. It is the choice of the defense lawyer and his client to testify or not. The State is not allowed to call the Defendant to testify as that would violate his/her constitutional rights.
