Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
I got put on house arrest for 1 year in June 2008. I filed a motion for early termination in February 2009. I was granted that motion so my new termination date is March 2009. I violated my probation before my March 2009 termination date. The judge modified my probation and added 6 months. Does that 6 months get added to my new termination date of March 2009 or does it get added to my original termination date of June 2009? I'm being told now that since I violated my probation, it goes back to the original termination date. Please help! We're talking about a 3 month difference.
