Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
I have a question I completed a pre-trial intervention and the case was dismissed . Is this an Imposition of sentence or a Witheld Adjudication ? As these questions were asked on a employment application . I know that I have not been convicted but I am unsure what Witheld Adjudication or Imposition of sentence means. Can someone explain this in simple terms please ?

It was neither and imposition of sentence nor a withheld adjudication. You can answer those questions on the application in the negative. The only question you may have to answer yes to is whether you have ever been arrested before. If you were not arrested, then that question is no also.

It means that the case is over, and it was dropped as if you were never prosecuted.
