Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
My question is about the Romeo & Juliet law in Florida. My boyfriend is 16 and I'm 19. He was coming up to see me via 4 hour bus ride and his parents said that if their son did not return home tonight, they would have me arrested and charged, and I'd become a sex offender, since he's a minor (16) and I'm an adult (19). Would the Romeo & Juliet law save me, since it says that two peoples aged 16-24 can legally date?

It would still be "legal."
