Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

Question about subpeona

Hello,

If i get served with a subpoena in Florida by the prosecution for a deposition, is it true that i get immunity and they can not come after me in the future? Additionally how does the statue of limitations for bad check writing work? What happens after it expires?

Please let me know, if anyone has any knowledge on this.

Thank you

(resubmitting..not sure if it went through the first time)

Re: Question about subpeona

if you were served with a notice of taking your deposition in a criminal case anything you say can be used against you.It is important that you assert your Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination at the deposition. The question of the expiration of the statue limitations needs to be examined carefully to ascertain the exact date in the violation and the type of charge. I would suggest you e-mail me your phone number so I call you to discuss this if you need further assistance.

Sincerely,

Robert Roemer
