Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
question about a trial
My husband has a court date for a determination of a trial date. I want to know what exactly happens there, the case is an old case its from 1997 but he was recently arrested for the warrant on it in October. I just want to know whatto expect from this court date. Do they offer bonds at this type of hearing?

Re: question about a trial
I need more info but the answer to your question is that his bond will not be addressed unless his lawyer has filed a motion to reduce it. What county is this and what is the charge? Where has he been since 1997? He may be able to file a motion to dismiss because it is so old.
