Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
Rape?
I placed an ad on a website stating I needed to make extra money for rent for doing house or office work. I received numerous emails offering an array jobs. A few were emails from men who were ''desperate'' and were willing to pay to take me out or just to come hang out with them, which I did ignore all but one of them. One being a guy who lives about an hour and a half from me who said he was willing to help me out. He said he was very successful and would help me get through school saying he could write it off on his taxes and such. He told me if I met up with him we could discuss things further. He even told me he owned a few dealerships and that I could drive ''demo'' cars for free...So I drove to meet him at his house where he proceeded to offer me a drink which I turned down, but then he kept asking me and asking me and so I had a drink. I dont remember too much after that except I woke up the next morning and drove back home. I am 18 years old and he is 42. This all happened two nights ago. Please tell me what I should do.

Re: Rape?
Your options are to report this to the police and deal with it now or let it go. If you let it go you may regret it later in your life.
I will speak to you if you want to contact me. I was a sex crimes prosecutor for 17 years before opening my own practice.
I'm sorry for what has happened to you.
