Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

My girlfriend recently told me that she was raped by a male friend/acquaintance in her own apartment. She said it happened a few months ago, and the guy is now in the Navy. Is there anything that cane be done to this guy?

Yes, you can report the crime to the police. It makes it a much harder case to prove because of the delayed reporting, for a number of reasons, including that the bulk of the evidence has been lost. However, that is not a reason not to report him.
