She started getting raped in the

Philippines at age 7yrs old. Then once

they moved in the states he raped her

over again at age 9yrs old until the

age 16yrs old. He was in military, once

I found out my child was being raped

my husband told me there's nothing

you can do at all. If you tell anyone

you and the kids will be deported and I

will go to jail and they will keep my

pinchun. '' I kept this to my self all

these years because he made me feel

there was not anything I could do

about it. It has been 13yrs and me

and my daghter now 29yrs old are still

mintaly unstable because of this'' we

have been married for 19yrs is there

anything I can do about this now after

all these years. I am still with him but

I now found out he is probly doing this

to a young girl again.

Yes, there is. Rape or sexual battery as it is called by the legal profession is a capital offense in Florida if the victim is under 12 years old. There is no statute of limitations, meaning that you can file charges later. You need to contact the State Attorney's Office in whatever town you live in. Alternatively, you can contact the Sheriff's Office & talk to a sex crimes detective. It is not too late. This is important not only for you and the victim, but also to protect others. Good luck.
