Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
real confused
lets say u are arrested when u were 17 for a gun possesion, and told that you would lose your gun privilages forever since it was a felony-well its 10 years later and i tried seein if i can petition it or something, and its not on my record any longer.....im kind of confused? did it drop off, or was it never on there? and similair to another question i read, can i buy a gun?i went with an attorney who said he could expunge it,but then checked my record and saw that i was arrested for it when i was 17 but it said nothing about me losing my right to own a gun------has anybody seen anything like this before?

I answered your last post- it just depends on the adjudication. you need to check that.

It seems like you were most likely charged when you were a juvenile, in that case you would never have lost your right to vote. I would get a criminal background check done and take it to an attorney for a review.
