I was offer to go to a court program and I took it. I went to the classes and pay the fees. Never had any problems. I have taken several jobs since then where a background was required and nothing ever showed up. I t wasn't until a couple of months ago that I noticed something was wrong becacuse after been laid off by me employee I wasn' able to get jobs I knew I was qualified. This week I ran my background through my current employee and notice the active warrant. I tried to locate the documents but my wife said that she thinks she trash them years ago. What can I do? PS. If you successfully completed the misdemeanor intervention program then your case should have been dismissed by the State Attorney's Office. If you are sure that there is an outstanding warrant and if you do not have proof of completion of the court program and/or proof of dismissal, you will most likely need a Miami attorney to help you sort this out. If you are located out of state then it is highly unlikely that you would be taken into custody even if you were stopped for a traffic infraction and law enforcement located the active warrant.
