Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
If you receive a certified letter from an attorney via us mail with a required signature and the letter states that they should remain 500 feet from places the other party frequents or criminal and or civil actions may result. Is this legal if the places are frequented by both party's, and there hasn't been any court or other legal activity involved?

Normally, a restraining order or an injunction issued by court is necessary to forbid someone from being at a place; unless, of course, the owner of the property issues a trespass warning. This letter may basically be threatening a legal injunction if you don't stay away voluntarily.
