Meet with a local attorney who practices criminal defense. The attorney can explain the charge to you as well as any possible defenses.

I would need more info to provide any specific advice. Who sent you such Notice? Is there a date to appear in court or are you being asked to contact the Sheriffs Office?
If you want me to review the Notice doc, let me know or if you need further representation, I have years of experience in criminal law cases as well as civil matters.
