Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
If someone receives a VOP after over a year on probation and then never goes to take care of it for 3 to 4 years.....is there a statue of limitation on it? Is there a way to get a bond for it?

There is no statute of limitations on violations of probation. The case will remain outstanding until it is resolved.

No there isn't. The statute of limitations applies to the original charge. Because the defendant was sentenced on the original charge, the statute of limitations has been satisfied.
