Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

I was recently arrested with the charge of obtaining property with a worthless check from 2000. This is something im am positive that I paid back in 2000. I had to drive to 3 different counties in Georgia to get it paid. My problem is that this was 9 years, 3 home moves and a divorce ago. I have looked through my home files and several other places and cannot find this paperwork. I will have to go to court because of this. Im not sure where to go from here. I have no idea where to go from here or even what to do. anything helpful would be greatly appreciated. (also, I have never been arrested before and only a few speeding tickets on my record. In general, I try to stay out of trouble and so far have not had a problem doing so).

You may have paid everyone back, but the act of writing the worthless checks was still a crime in an of itself. I would get a lawyer to negotiate the charges away possibly.
