Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
I recently discovered I have a in-state misdemeanor warrant in Gainesville, FL from college. I have a business trip coming up in a few weeks to Japan, and worried I will not be able to board the plane because of this. Now that I know about the warrant, I plan on taking care of it right when I get back in the states, but still worried this could stop me from making the trip and possibly losing my job.
Thank you for your time.

You probably don't have to worry about it when you leave but you will be arrested upon your return. My advice is to contact an attorney before you go so that hopefully you can at least resovle the warrant issue before you leave. Even then, you want to make sure it is cleared out of the system before you leave.
