Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
I recently forgot to pay my electric bill. When I came home from work it was turned off. I then called a and went through an automated system to pay my bill and the balance of the bill that wasn't due until next month. After paying the balance they said that the electric would not be restored until the following business day. I then went downstairs to the meter and turned the electric back on for my apartment. It is Florida and 90 degrees and I have an animal in my home. What kind of trouble did I get myself into?

You committed a misdemeanor, but you need to contact your electric company right away about working something out to get your power back on, lest the police get involved.
