Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

Can i have my record changed

i was arrested and convicted of possesion of marijuana poss/pur/sell/del/man of cannabis in Broward county FL in June 1995 it was a felony .i was arrested with 1 ounce of marijuana wich in florida over 20 grams is a felony.Back in 95 the possesion of over 20 grams was an automatic delivery charge. But in my case I had 1 bag that just happened to weigh 29 grams and it was the automatic felony delivery charge. But since then i was told in Florida that the same charge today would have been just a possesion felony and not the delivery, manufactoring, purchase or selling charge .What i want to no is if the state or court would change my criminal record to possesion of marijuana instead of the purchase ,selling or delivery manfactoring of cannabis. that looks much worse on my record then just possesion

Probably not. The law which was in effect at the time of the arrest is what counts. Having said that, you may wish to speak with your attorney and see what he or she says. You have nothing to lose.
