Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
Records Expunged
In november of 1999 I was charged with Grand Theft. I plead nolo contende and was sentenced to 2years probation and restitution. I was never convicted. The judge withheld my adjudication. I plan on going to college in the spring to get a degree in teaching. Can i have my records sealed? Also how--name removed--this affect my chances in becoming a teacher. Thank you for your time.

Re: Records Expunged
If this is your only criminal legal history, you should be eligible to have your record sealed. After it has been sealed for 10 years, it could be expunged.
