Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

I have my records sealed, but yet a charge keeps coming up on my background check, I was not convicted of this charge, I was actually charged with this crime twice, when I went through the process of getting my records sealed, the attournry told me only one charge could be covered, so I opted for the charge that I pleaded no contest for, out of fear of jail time... Now I can't seem to get a job because of this other charge that didn't even see the light of a court room, how can I keep this charge from coming up during employment background checks...

Short answer is that you can do very little. Your attorney was correct in that only one charge can be sealed or expunged. If the charge was dismissed, then you just need to explain to the employer that it was dismissed. Otherwise, just use common sense and explain how your life has changed since these charges.
