Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
I am a registered sex offender. I have complied with all the registration requirements. I am not on parole or probation, nor are any charges pending. I have had no new legal trouble since 2008. I moved to Florida in 2013.
Can law enforcement, because I am a sex offender, search my residence without a warrant? Do I have to open the door to law enforcement? Thank you.

As long as you are not on probation and as long as you have properly registered, then no they can't search your place without a warrant, unless you give them consent to do so.
