Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

I recently was released from prison (Not yet 1yr). my license was revoked as part of my sentence but needing to work i had to have some type of transportaion I was under the impression and so were all the people i knew that a moped that was under 50 cc and was ran by pedales that you did not need a license to drive it and was even told by the person i bought the moped from this and his business is selling scooters and mopeds but sadly we were all wrong and now i have a felony driving while lic revoked is this a new law and is it going to send me back to prison i was trying to do the right thing and did not know or i would have not taken the risk what can i do please help thank you

It doesnt sound like a serious violation to me. A good lawyer should be able to help you out of this.
