Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

Hi,

Have a relative who was just arrested for the following:

2 Counts of STOLEN PROP-DEAL IN, ORGANIZED

2 Counts of PUBLIC ORDER CRIMES, ENGAGE IN PAWNBROKER BUSINESS WITHOUT LICENSE

1 Count of LARC, GRAND THEFT 300 LESS THAN 5K DOLS 1

I just cut and pasted the charges from the website.

My question is: Are these serious charges? And what is the difference between dealing in stolen property and organized dealing in stolen property? Are these all felonies?

Thanks so much for your time.

He is facing a lot of time. The dealing in stolen property are 2nd degree felonies and the others are third degree felonies. When you add them all up, that means your relative is facing 15 years + 15 years + 5 years + 5 years + 5 years, or 45 years prison total. So yes it is serious. I would need to know more facts about the organized dealing to understand the context.
