rent to own
i have a rent to own tv and i am behind on pmts...is this a criminal act..can they have me arrested..or file charges

Not a criminal issue unless you obtained the "loan" through fraudulent means. Credit/Debt issues are civil and they can take you to court if needed, but you can not be arrested for debt in the United States.

Fortunately you are not held criminally responsible for failing to repay debts. They cannot arrest you or even threaten criminal prosecution solely for failing to make payments on your debts.
