Representation
If a public defender is not representing it's client to the best of their ability is better for the person to reprsent themselves?

This is an easy one. NEVER EVER represent yourself. Have a talk with your pd and give specifics about why you are unhappy. Sometimes you can switch pds. If you are still unhappy ask for a NELSOn hearing.
